Marsha P. Johnson, a black trans woman, was a central figure in the gay liberation movement. Her story is a testament to this state's disregard for black lives, especially queer black lives. It is our responsibility as white queer people to spend this pride month uplifting the black members of our community, who are the reason pride exists today. We must continue to educate ourselves on the experiences of the black community and most of all listen to their voices. 100% of proceeds for this shirt will be donated to black-owned human rights organizations FOREVER. This month of June 2020, all proceeds will be donated to the NAACP legal defense and educational fund. To all of our black followers: we see you, we hear you, we fight with you.
